Not too sure exactly, but I believe it has to be Kick3.1. Not used the Amiga for quite some time now, but I remember making some enquiries myself. I'm pretty sure the base machine had to be 3.1 as the OS needed specific features of the ROM chip.

Try a Google

Is Magic Workbench still doing the rounds? That made some nice cosmetic changes to Workbench ( I nearly said Windows then).

Here ya go! Get the lowdown here http://www.sasg.com/mwb/. The UK download link doesn't work though.

Whoops! forgot this bit. MUI is Magic Workbench's companion. This gives you the the nice progress bars etc http://www.sasg.com/mui/

I used to use them myself

You do need Kickstart 3.1 for OS 3.5 and 3.9... and its quite an easy ROM chip swop in the A1200... However you do also need a CD-ROM drive, and rather than go for 3.5 I would jump directly to 3.9...

What I Was Going To Do Was Install os3.5  On UAE Then Use My Flash Card To transfer It To Amiga

Ill Probably Fit A 040 Expansion As priority Over 3.1 But Maybe With Expansion Ill SoftKick 3.1 A Nice Liitle Startup-sequence Maybe Be able SoftKick Reboot Then Go Into Workbech 3.5 I Mean Os 3.5
