Hello again Simon,

We have the venture confirmed as much as it will definately happen this year, and Robert Barnardo from the US will be there, as well as myself and Allan Bairstow (of Commodore Scene). We are hoping to have Retro Review interested.

The provisional date for the show is 22nd June - If there is enough interest then we can also use 23rd June as well. The show will again be at the Limelight Club, Crewe.

If it is big enough, Micro Mart could put aside a whole page to do some sort of coverage, leading onto your planned classic computer series, pehaps?

Regards,

Shaun.

Hi All,

Just a quick note to say that planning for the show and interest is going well - see the page at http://members.aol.com/ramlink666/show2.htm, or if you would like to book a stall, use the same url, but show2.pdf at the end instead of show2.htm.

Hope to see you there,

Shaun.

Retro show update :-

We have been hard at work over the last few weeks - thankfully we will also have new Vic 20 software(!!) at the show - only demos though, but they look good.. I'm also trying to find the people behind Future OS that is being developed for the Amstrad CPC. Anybody?

There will be other updates here as they happen.

Shaun.

Retro show update :-

Hello Again,

I've managed to find the people behind FutureOS for the CPC, who will send me a pack about the software ready for the show. Also, CPCOxygen, a Amstrad webzine will be advertising the show in an upcoming issue.

A quick request for anyone interested. If you would like to help out at the event on the day, and you live in the South Cheshire (or Stoke-On-Trent) area, please leave me a private message - it will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Shaun.

We are now in the very final planning stages for the show - here is a quick update of the people who have committed themselves to attending:

Allan Bairstow (Commodore Scene),
Ian Gledhill (From Retro Review magazine),
Robert Bernardo (From the US - Commodore user group),
Shaun Bebbington (Retro Computer Mart in Micro Mart),
D & D systems (the people behind the superb Sinclair QL clone)
and Richard Atkinson (MSX enthusiast t.b.c)

Those who attend will be able to shape the R.C.M column (as I will listen to all opinions), or perhaps even have your photo published!!??

Finally, you can have your say about the show, and what you would like to see in the next one. We are all ears!

I'll see you there then?

Shaun.
