Hi all,
A bit confused, I've been playing around with my mac installing software and generally having fun (especially with the widgets) but I'm stuck as to how you uninstall programs. Where do you go?
Cheers

| In general, this is a nice easy one....... Simply go to the Applications folder (or where ever you have installed the app) and simply drag the icon and/or folder to the Trash. Job done. This works for most things. Some apps are a bit more tricky to get rid of. To ensure you have got rid of everything you could use something like 'Appzapper' which I think is freeware.

AppZapper is Shareware. BigAlbie's right, though - most apps can be uninstalled just by deleting the application from your hard drive. Some apps come with an uninstaller, so check the folder of the application in question to see if there's one present. If there isn't, just drag it into the bin.

thanks for the replies.
I thought it would be done like that, but when you drag the folder to the recycle bin in windows it doesn't like it, that's why I was double-checking.
Apart from this little confusion over uninstalling programs, I think I'm adapting quite well to the OS X, it's very easy to use (a lot easier than XP) and I can see why Vista has a lot of it's features.
