| Interesting news for those Mac gamers & possible Windows switchers wanting to play games on Intel Macs. A Canadian company called TransGaming is releasing a portability engine that will allow Windows native games to be played on Intel Macs. From what I gather the game developer can port their Windows game to MacIntel with 'little or no effort' allowing simultaneous release dates and little cost impact. They can use the same code base according to what I've read. The engine is called 'Cider' and will also allow the games to run on Linux under 'Cedega' (?). Have to profess I know little about any of this as I'm not a gamer. I think this may be of more importance to the Linux community than the Mac one. Maybe time for a crop of decebt games for Linux?
