Thanks to Gsteve(writing as Dave) with the sensible letter about broadband in this week's Micromart. I've no axe to grind here, I don't want or need broadband, the local exchange is converted and I could get it without any problem.I cant follow the maths for bit to byte conversion( 512000Kb/1024=500Kb,
then 500/8=62.5KB) ? no need to introduce 1000 into it.
Somebody put me right if I'm wrong.

Not surprising as you are from North of the border Dave.

I tried to keep my Scottish mate /neighbour out of jail last night, he was determined to beat-up on his family, and being an ex-boxer would have done a good job. I have a healthy black eye today, and he is unfortunately a guest of the local constabulary, --- Drummonds, - what can you do with them eh ! just hope the po-lice don't rough him up to much.

So they have published you at last ! --- hope you actually went out and bought the magazine you tight s*d unlike a time about 6 months ago, when I gave you a good write up, and you were trying to SCROUNGE a copy, rather than buy it.

A grudging congratulations anyhow.
