I have many original games that that are beginning to fail due to age or wear and tare is it legal to swap adf image with others in order to revive my originals ie i have star crusader with just disk 1 corrupted and would like to swap with someone else who also needs an adf of one of there game as i have lots of games that i would like to install to hard drive but can not due to 1 or two of the disks no longer being able to be read due to disk error
yes i am going to use my Zx Spectrum to control my xmas lights again this year i may even add another 8 outputs totaling 16 and put on a real show this year .

It used to be the case that if you own the original it would have been legal... but I am unsure under the Millenium copright changes across the US and Europe as a whole.

I wonder if any else knows if it is legal or not as I'm mainly interested in part not the whole game so as such i would not be getting a working game .As at the moment the games that are giving me problems are games that span over several disks . I know i can get adf`s over the net but these are all cracked copies so are no good to replace my original copies and are not hard drive installable . !
