I'm a Plusnet user, and I've not noticed anything out of the ordinary. If you can post some of the sites you're having problems with, I'll check 'em out and report back (BTW I didn't know they were upgrading anything - there are some hardware upgrades of Fujitsu kit planned by BT at all their ADSL-equipped exchanges, but that's not due 'til next week).

Just zapped through a selection on my favourites list, no problems, performance OK for Saturday evening. On line Jazz still fine .

I'll check the Portal myself for announcments in a while. Are you on the PlusNet or the F9 realm?

There is indeed an announcement or two describing the situation, which they are claiming has now been fixed. Info here: http://portal.plus.net/supportpages.html?a=2&support_action=messages&ispservice_id=9. Click on the Connectivity link for the explanation.

Turns out it was a DNS resolution/routing problem that resulted in Plusnet users being unable to access certain websites. Everything's hunky-dory now though.
