Hi all

I've just installed a Belkin wireless pci card in son's computer upstairs, finally managed to get the thing working (Win 98 is'nt very friendly with wireless, but that's another story, it's working), problem now is that when it's connected at the same time as my own machine downstairs, the connection for both drops out. Switch one off, it doesn't matter which, and the other one comes back up. Has anyone had a similar problem because it's starting to drive me

My computer uses a 3com USB wireless adapter, has done forever and is absolutely fine...until now. Could there be a compatibility issue between the two adapters? How is that possible when they're in seperate machines? Further thought- his older brother has a wireless enabled laptop, that he can use all over the house, and often uses in the same room as my computer and there is no problem.

Any ideas?

are both wireless cards using the same IP address?

The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four persons is suffering from some sort of mental illness. Think of your three best friends -- if they're okay, then it's you.
