| This is the problem I had a few days ago, after ringing up Belkin support twice .(wish they had English speaking operatives that could do more than read from a list !!) Im hard wired upstairs and wireless in the living room where I play all my games etc ; after installing the software and the card I could only connect for 3 minutes at a time and it would disconnect then I would have to reconnect again which to say the least was not ideal when I was streaming a movie ,moving files around the network etc from upstairs. Eventually I rang Belkin and they were not much help,I had to set it up on another pc and it worked fine so that led me to believe it was my XP installation downstairs that was the problem but I was not about to do a clean install (because I couldn't be arsed and it would be too much hassle, easier to hard wire the thing and it was a challenge I wanted to solve without doing the obvious.lol.) Any how after working faultlessly for a day on my PC upstairs I decided to sort it out on the PC downstairs (where it was required) . I removed the Belkin software from my PC downstairs and ran a registry checker and cleaners then cold booted and ran them again, installed the wireless card (WITHOUT the Belkin software) inserted the belkin setup disk (before windows booted so it wouldn't autorun) and let windows find the driver and crossed my fingers,to my amazement AFTER I entered the WEP security 13 hex pairs into the windows dialogue box it worked , and has been ever since, that was a week ago. So if you have the same problem and Belkin doesn't know the answer, just uninstall the Belkin software , clean your system, cold boot and voila. Hope this helps.
