Having owned one of these motherboards since 02/04/07 I was interested to see what your reviewer made of it. I have to say I needed to check the model number twice to make sure we were talking about the same thing! Whilst I accept that to a certain degree any review is subjective, it should at least be factually accurate.

Perhaps if the reviewer had spent a little more time evaluating the board rather than worrying about a sticker on the PCI slots he would have noticed the following :-

There are TWO PCIE slots (1X16 and 1X4).
There IS a firewire port (yes it is on the backplane!).
Both the ICH8R and Gigabyte SATA2 controller support RAID.

I have found this board to be an excellent overclocker (using F5 bios), and my C2D E4300 is running at 2988Mhz without Prime 95 or FAH errors.

Hope you will give your reviwer a slap on the wrist

Hi one box,

Yeah, I was a bit confused about that review as well as the board has been getting some good reviews on the net.

You would have expected the reviewer to have noticed th fire wire port.

Also the 'P' stands for pro I believe, to differentiate it from standard ds3's .
