Hi I have bought myself a Linksys WRT300N and a WMP300N wireless card and I have found after a long stint of downloading Linux ISO using utorrent or other torrent handlers my internet connection drops and the only way I can get it back is by trekking down the stairs and unplugging the power cable and plugging it back in which is some what annoying. This happens on two routers I have had both the same router I thought one was faulty but this one has the same problem. I have spoke to Linksys about it and they are unaware of any type of problems with utorrent and there router. I have upgraded the firmware to the newest one being 2.0.20 which can be found on there firmware FTP. But this hasn't made any difference. I have also changed the wireless channels change the Fragmentation Threshold to 3206 and same for the RTS threshold. I have also changed the MTU to 1400. Does anyone know what is causing my dropping in connection and how to solve it or is it just a shoddy firmware problem Linksys have missed?

Torrents can be an absolute network killer, especially wireless ones. They open so many ports and sessions at once it's untrue. The network gets swamped with data and wireless isn't very good at handling this, especially on the upload.
