My wireless likes to d/c during annoying moments when playing Halo online.

I'm using a Philips SNU6500 router, and a Belkin Wireless G adapter. Also, during some applications, the network likes to disconnect and reconnect itself for no reason.

Could it just be a simple conflict, and how would I fix it?

Probably by throwing the Belkin in the bin.

Download Netstumbler (free) and see if there are any other wireless broadcasting locally on the same (or close) channels.

If there are, move 5 channels away from them, or as far away as possible.

My PC hasn't detected any with Window's amazing Wireless thing. There were only ever 2 others, and both were encrypted (soon to be 1, the school across the road is closing)

Well, I had to re-set up the network, and it's d/c'd a lot since.
Also, it sometimes isn't recongised by Windows as being active (so it's apparently not connected when it is).
And now it just shows as connected (as in right now), but no doubt it'll d/c soon.
Any ideas what is up? NetStumbler showed 2 connections including this, and this one is 5 channels from the other.
Thanks

P.S. Sorry to D.P.
