Glad it worked
I see in another thread you are off to foreign shores soon.
When you get back I suggest you try and get things organised as per Wileys diagram.

The Voyager can be unlocked (Google it) but a decent router, such as the Buffalo Airstation WBMR-G54-1 will cost you less than a tenner each.
Hands up who knew I'd say Buffalo

Yeah dave, i kinda knew you might just get the B word in somewhere

I've read a few threads were you come to that end result, and it will def be the case when i sort out my own w/l network. Thanks for the recommendation, Buffalo all the way.

Hols wise, lately i've become single+sold a house+left a job. So i thought i'd get a well earned break. 3 weeks in Bali, Lombok and Sumbawa, then 7 weeks in oz staying with some good freinds, south of Perth. And strange, but true, their town is called.....Golden Bay. Perfect.

Thanks again.

cheers si

"i've become single+sold a house+left a job"

Sounds like you need to do a "Compaq" (forumite, look at his sig).
There's bugger all reason to stay in this country....

I see what you mean, it does appear tempting at times, to try somewhere else to live.

But, i kinda feel like i've done that allready. I was born and bred in E Yorks, and i've lived in various parts of Devon and Cornwall for the last 12 years. 350 miles from your family does seem like being in another country, especially in the South West. But,i love it down here and earning Pounds is good if you like to pop off around the world to travel.

In my little fantasy world, i'd like to live in the UK for the warmest 8 months of the year, and disapear off for the other 4, somewhere warmer with nice beaches, good surf and friendly locals

We'll see, keeping my options open. Might meet a nice, fit Sheila in Oz

cheers si

warmest 8 months of the year ?

when does the uk have that many good months? all it does is rain or blow a gale, lucky if you get a month of sunshine in summer.

i lived in the uk 38 years and i dont miss it one bit, especially as i just heard from my friend says petrol is 110 a litre and you are about to be stung for your elec and gas again.

Anyway the UK isnt the uk anymore its changed to much, too much violence and racial intolerance, its gone to crap

im glad im out.

Well, i'm not gonna disagree. Some valid points.

Maybe i should have said 'the most bear-able 8 months' of the year..

cheers si
