| I know this is a really basic questions but I would appreciate some help. I currently connect to Virgin Media via the cable modem that they supply and then from this to my wireless router via a cabled connection. I'm about to relocate my modem and router and would like to know if it's possible to get one box to do both jobs. If so any pointers to which are best? Thanks

Munkoms (25/02/2008) I'm about to relocate my modem and router and would like to know if it's possible to get one box to do both jobs.I've never seen one. If you're curent set up works, why spend more money?

No, the termination equipment for the cable is Virgins.

| Thanks to both of you. I was only trying to reduce the number of boxes that currently sit on the desk at home. I think my confusion comes from seeing ADSL and Cable wireless routers advertised. Still not sure what the difference would be. Thanks again.

ADSL routers normally have the modem built in.
