This is my first attempt at getting old 8mm cassette camcorder footage onto my pc. I managed to burn the movies onto the dvd standalone player and play them back on the dvd player so the data is deffo there but when i put the dvd into my pc dvd drive it shows up as empty with windows offering me to burn a blank dvd.

Where am i going wrong here?  its a DVD-r btw
