im on the internet now,its works with my 2 desktops but yesterday the 360 with wireless adapter could not connect, same with the mrs laptop, both desktops are using the netgear usb adapter and seem to work fine,i reebooted the router yesterday(done it many times) as ive been having problems which talktalk say are not theres, phoned netgear and we got it sorted but now the xbox wireless adapter wont get past the first xbox live test(could not save settings due to memory failure or loss of connection to the adapter" and my mrs has limited access problems.

could it be the routers on its way out?why does it only work wirelessly with netgears own usb wireless adapters?im not a noob at this as ive reebooted the router, messed about quite a lot with it,even factory defaults wont let 360 connect, any ideas chaps?(my boy is giving me evils as he cant play cod4 on his 360)

one more thing,i use the installation disk with the dg834pn,at one stage it always came up with"pppoa detected"the asked for my isp login and password, now it does not say"pppoa detected" but takes me to a screen where i have to put asdl settings in manually, never done that b4.

warm regards

They should all use the same wireless key to access the same device.

If you have 4 key codes you must be using WEP.

You have it sorted now, but just in case canyone else comes across the same issue:
Only one of the codes is active at any one time.
All cliient devices must use that same code.

Is there any reason you cannot use WPA?
It's a lot more secure than WEP.
