| hello well with the introduction of the new gpu client iv started folding again on my card, but thats the problem....one card, what i dotn understand is im currently in crossfire and the gpu folding client is running (and fast!) but only 1 card is running and obviously i want it running on both, and if possible have the smp client running on my remaining 2 cores (imagine the points!) so erm if anyone can help me getting this all working id be very happy. oh and on another note, i downloaded the smp version 5.92 (the latest one which ever it was) and it just seems wierd and i dont get it at all

I know nothing about folding on gfx card, but on an earlyer update you had done 13 WU's today for 98 points.
Interesting how many you do in the whole day.

Phitore (12/05/2008) I know nothing about folding on gfx card, but on an earlyer update you had done 13 WU's today for 98 points. Interesting how many you do in the whole day. EEK stop it JS you are getting eue's and trashing a lot of wu's by the look of it. never mind the fancy dual gpu folding scenario lets fix the eue problem.

iv stopped attempting to do the dual thing (turn out you have to ahve a monitor in each card...wth?) anyways the folding on one card seems to be working again now (fingers crossed), now im gonna ahve to buy a second monitor to stick on my other card, and perhapse 2 4870 X2's when they happen sorry about the EUE's too, i didnt notice them at first but as iv said i think its all sorted now. now the problem is getting the smp client to only run on 3 cores (so i can ahve 1 core doing the gpu client) if i run the smp thing, it chokes the cpu client which grinds it down to a snails pace. ill post again when im 100% sure if the gpu client is running good EDIT: by giving the gpu client a slighlty higher priority than the smp it now runs fine as far as i can tell, as i said before ill update if anything changes

As I've put in my thread, I've now got the SMP client folding on both my CPU cores and the GPU client folding on my HD3850 with no drop in CPU PPD and both clients hitting targets with ease.
I did find though, last night I left some videos encoding overnight with PSP Video 9 and had two GPU EUE's while it was running.

Ok, as soon as I start any video encoding, I get an EUE on the GPU client. I thought it was supposed to throttle back and avoid things like this?
