whats the quickest anyone's got an athlon 800 (not xp) to?

id GUESS it'd probably be about 1.2Ghz i think (i believe was the top speed of the old thunderbird core)
upping voltage and cooling and then changing multiplier/fsb is the way forward, though i dont know how succesful you'd be - dpends on your board and other components like psu

Thats not a slot A cpu is it?
If its a socket a then the best way is to buy anothe cpu. Cheap and easy.

'fraid it's a socket A. I'm looking to upgrade my mobo, as it only supports up to Duron 1300, but i'm interested in o/c but haven't got a clue how to do it. Seems like i'm in the right place then.
