Hi guys. I'm going to fix a problem with a broadband connection tomorrow for a work college. now I set up there laptop for wirless broadband yesterday,but they now have no internet on there main pc. there both on BT broadband (same account) the Pc is on a Bt wireless hub and there laptop runs of a blenkin wireless modem. (they bought it with the laptop witch they got just the other day). they only have one phone socket though and that needs to support there phone and sky(sky is optional).
So what I'm wondering is what is the best solution to the problem?. could I still use the blenkin for the laptop and the home hub for the PC by using splitters and micro filters or would it be better for the laptop to share (if that's possible) a wireless connection with the BT home hub?

You can't share an ADSL line with 2 routers, so wireless is your only option.

cheers ricedq. I got it running on the BT home hup (easy peasy) one issue though the PC enjoys around about 4megs but when I tried to download updates for the laptop the speed was around 3.4kps even though the laptop was about a foot away from the router.
harder,faster bet....er drat!

| Well, if it's that close why are you using wireless? Just use a Ethernet cable.
