so, generally working on my website while in a lecture at uni last month, get home, and go to upload all my hard work and what to i find?
a lovely error message saying "page not found"
why? i hear you ask, well it just so happens my registrar has gone bust, closed down his servers and hasnt bothered telling a soul! and guess which muppet doesnt hava a backup of his website? yup! me! all emails bounce back, their own website is down, and they are really starting to piss me off!

I've emailed Nominet, and eNom (DCH is a reseller for eNom) and will hopefully resolve the problem, but do you guys know anything I can do to speed up the problem?

Finally got a day off work tomorrow! so gonna ring people, and luckily Nominet are based right here in Oxford, so if nothing happens Im going to march myself down to their offices and try to sort it out in person!

You might be alright.
Nominet have also just started emailing login links to customers IF the thrid party register it in your name & with your details so you can directly control your account (which is nice because it means you can change the IPS tag really easily now) - but it is varying wether you get the email or not..... I've got access to about 20 to 25 of my domains at the moment. The jury is still out on the 30 or so more registered via FastHosts (they seem to be draggign their feet )
