HI lads just soft-moded a hercules All-in-wonder 9800se and what a beast it is .
IT soft-moded no problems then i over clocked it to 414MHz-CORE/MEM355MHz runs lick a dream 3D MARKS 03 and patch 330 score 5598 hers the best bit that was on a ASROCK mobo with a AMD1800+ clocked to 1.900gig 166x11.5 got this card for £160.00 off a mate brandnew what a steel i think AIW 9800PRO sells for i think £350 and this card should kick its arse lol am in heven

Well done. Its the hercules that ive heard one has the best chance of modding. Have you tested it fully to make sure youve no artifacts(checkerboard effect). Turn on a bit of aa and af and run mark03 again to make sure.

yes peter ran 3do3 about 6 times the last run was at very high quality nuthing not a spec i did have it higher this is the settings i settled for i ran aquamarks3 got 41654 is this a good score

i might try this card in my msi k7n2 delta-l nfoce2 this has a 2800
barton runing at 200X10.5=2100MHz the card i have in this at the moment is a HIS ICEQ EXCALIBUR 9800PRO clocked to co
core470 mem382 3dmarks 03=6495 and aquamark3=46550
not bad i think

here lads for what it is worth i ran AIDA32 before i softmoded and it had this card running the same speed as the pro IE 378HHz the non pro 330MHz the only difference was the non pro was only running 4 pipelines pro 8pipelines

hi lads been doing a bit of testing to both cards IE AIW 9800SE+HIS 9800PRO the best i could get out of both with out any artifacts atall was hercules 9800SE CORE 414 /MEMORY 351 this gave a 3D MARK 03 OF 5512

THE HIS Iceq Excalibur 9800PRO GAVE CORE 450 /MEMORY 369 THIS GAVE 3d mark 03 = 6440

Hi all, I have the hercules aiw 9800se with softmod drivers 3.10 with no artifacts whats the best program to overclock the card or do i need hardware mod.

Hi thanks for the link i'll try it soon.I get my drivers from http://www.ocfaq.com/softmod/ im using 3.10 patched but i have heard that these don't work with aa enabled but not sure.
My tv works but had to use a patch from microsoft site to fix it.
Remote works with no problems but it must not be plugged in when you install drivers.Hope some of this helps had to many beers ready for some sleep.
