There are too many Amiga games I loved to mention one that was my favourite. However, if you think about it logically, the game I spent most time playing would have to be my favourite, and that is Frontier: Elite 2. I loved that game so much...

Other fave's include Civilization/Colonization, Dune 2000, Chaos Engine, F/A-18 Interceptor (I was always called Maverick ), Cannon Fodder (War, it's never been so much fun!), Sensible Soccor... god there was so many good games!

Edit: Oh, and how can I forget Valhalla? (It's a carnivore!)

Well, I was always fond of the Monkey Island adventure games on my A1200 with a hard drive but strange as it sounds for some odd reason I would say Moonstone. Not quite sure why, but it is always the first thing i try if i get an emulator up and running. Some of those beasts you had to kill were quite wonderful and all the blood was amusing. I also loved the intro.
Mainly though I used the amiga to try to make my own games using AMOS,that was probably the best fun of all!

I never really played games, but the only one that I had a "time loss" incident with is Lemmings.  My mum brought home an A500+ pack to test (Seeboard were dabbling in selling computers at the time, Late 1980's) and I loaded it up on diskette at 6pm.  When I finished I wondered why the house was so cold and when I went downstairs to find a clock I realised it was 3am!!

A close second has to be Populous, though.  Earth quakes were grrreeaat!!
