Good afternoon.

I have just changed my mobile phoe to a Blackberry 8320 Curve and am surprised at what i can do with it. I just wondered if you could do an article about what can now be done with these as well as the newer mobile phones (sat nav, video etc).

Best regards

Andy

I do love Blackberry. I have an old SE p800 I picked up cheap, it's amazing what even those models can do (stylus, touch screen, handwriting recognition, etc). And as for the N95...well that's more of a media device than a phone.

No, please, no phone stuff. I would rather read acres of 'how to build a fast computer' or variants thereof, than read ANYTHING about the blight of civilisation, the mobile 'phone, in all its various iterations.

As an aside to that, I watched two spotties walking down the road a few days back, talking to each other - on their mobiles!

Yes, before you ask, they were side by side! I did consider offering them two tin cans and a length of string, but I wasn't wearing my anti-stab vest at the time.

I use an XDA, which does everything that I can imagine, and probably things that I can't. It was a nice novelty at first, but it's well and truely worn off. Windows Mobile is anything but reliable. When it crashes, more often than not I have to do a hardware reset.

How's about Linux Mobile? I don't know if there is anything like that about, but if there is, I'm all ears! :-) I'd happily wipe off Windows Mobile 6 and put a Linux Distro on!
