AMD has just released a optimised HD3870 cards specially for owners of mac's
512mb GDDR and 320 stream processors.
Due to be released over here at the end of June, more over at 'The Inquirer'

| It's a good piece of hardware, or it was when it came out late last year. Though I'm not sure how without DX10 the Mac is going to make best use of some of the features it has, maybe through OpenGL. By the given release date some poor PC owners will be stuck with the horribly overpowered HD 4870, which I assume will get a Mac release around Christmas.

Don't know about mac's never had one, been tempted on a few ocasions to buy one, but my lack of mac knowledge puts me off.
