| Just to say that issue 1009 is like so many others, in that Mark seems to write about 50% of all the articles in MM, he is prodigious in his output and I don't know how he has the time to do all this. More importantly still, he is a natural writer with an excellent writing style and also a gifted polymath with very broad expertise. He's priceless to MM.

Yes, I love Mark Pickavance's work too. He's got a great turn of phrase which makes even the most mundane of subjects fun to read about.

| MP *is* MM... Of course, the other writers are also very good, with Jason being a particular favourite, and I am sure if MM lost MP, the other chaps could step up to the plate... Perhaps open up a few spaces for wannabie writers? Apologies for the awful Americanism... One is aware it is just not Cricket, old bean...

We're always looking for and trying new writers. I think we've had seven or eight faces this year already that are new to Micro Mart

and also a gifted polymath On a first quick skim I thought that said "pyschopath" I always enjoy Marks work, even if sometimes I don't totally agree I always know where he's coming from. It's obvious he does his homework - just like Jason - and I wish he'd come out of his shell more around the Forum - just like Jason. Well maybe not "just like Jason", the Forum has enough pedants already Seriously though, a Quixotic change of name (that's a reference to Jason, not Mark) would I think do a world of good.
Some of us know who you are Mark and being a bit more open about it won't do you any harm. Apart from getting an overloaded PM box and Jase will tell you how to deal with that That applies to all the regular writers - get stuck in peeps, we want your contributions!

Agreed! PM always writes an exceptionally accurate article. One could even call his articles success as exponential....assuming we check the synonyms in MS Word?

As Mitch says..PM? Gordon "thingybob"..beware.
Serious..many articles I dont like..many I do..but overall a good mag.Good writers all.
More important many" good readers "and some great guys on the forums.
As well as Mark , Jason, and all the others..give thanks for all those who spend time on the foruns and help us poor
s**s to keep our computers working, give advice and generally be of assistance.
The quality of the forums show just how good the mag is and this quality is only achieved because the writers in
the mag are good and we [in general] like what they write.
ricedg..mitch..oldphart..and all of you..many thanks for all your help..thanks simon and all the team..including MP and others][sorry if i missed you out..but you know who you are ..i do!]
