After many problems I have reinstalled win xp and tried to reset up the wireless network the desktop pc will not recognize the belkin so I cannot connect to the internet however our laptop still connects through the wireless network without any trouble the only clue I have is in control panel, system, there is the following, Network adapters Nvidia with a yellow exclamation mark then it describes it's location and below this, this device cannot find enough resources that it can use If you want to use this device you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system. Because the pc came with everything installed I am now wondering was the driver concerned not with the bundle I have got
hope this means something to you all
thanks very much for your help

first check drivers and download some new ones for it and install them if that doesn't help then try and release some resources by disabling a few things u wont need like parralel port and com port and legacy stuff and any other stuff u don't use in the BIOS - although if ur inexperienced with things like that get a friend who knows what they are doing to go into the BIOS cos u mite mess something up otherwise. then if it still doesn't work u may want to just pick up a cheap PCI ethernet network card or wireless card and connecting to your router that way.Tatos
