Thank you all, since I installed the folding software I have got addicted to getting points. I have only rebooted it maybe 4 times since I started and have left it running 24hours a day, now if only I could get the gpu software working I would be flying faster but unfortunately nvidia's cuda drivers wont work on my card yet.
Hopefully it wont be long before i'm joining more of you at the top of the table. I'm hunting you all down, although I know I won't catch you all I will certainly give it a good try
I have to thank keith also for his advice about running 2 versions of linux using virtual machine software. Without his knowledge I would only be getting half the points I am now .

| your 8800 GTX should work with GPU2 buzz Buzz and well done....theres results in their site .....you may need to use the modded drivers though .

I have got the gpu client working now, I tried it the other day and it wouldn't work but as I was writing the last post I remembered that I hadn't updated my gfx drivers recently and so the cuda drivers I needed wouldn't work. Everything seems to be working ok now, but I noticed that I didnt have to specify a machine ID when I installed the gpu software I am guessing it will work ok just have to wait and see.

might be an idea to config your other clients as other numbers than the gpu machine id
