Update!
Okay after messing around with Gxine I know have nice looking video! BUT! NO SOUND!!!! Installed everything to do with alsa as suggested else where but still quiet?

Well after installing everything under the sun to get Gxine working but with no sound totem movie player now works fully...Darn Linux...never have these trouble from M$.
