Hello all.
I have a HP cd 8200 which I have modified to take a hard drive.
Its usable in Xp but not in Ubuntu 8.04.
Its freshly formated ntfs in xp.
Is it the format or file system?
Any ideas
Thanks

file system.
NTFS is not natively recognised in Linux, but yo can install NTFS3g filesystem.
http://www.ntfs-3g.org/

I think it is in the Ubuntu repositories.
