In sales it's called 'The Take Away'.
The sales patter goes like this:
Sales person: 'Now it does, so and so, which could be of real benefit to you, don't you agree?'
Customer: 'Oh Yes.'
Sales person: 'But I'm not sure.. you qualify.. its suitable.. we have any left!'
Customer 'How can I qualify, make sure its suitable, please say you some left!'
'Do not press' is the most basic of take aways.
