Or you could try browsing http://art.gnome.org/ or go really mad, use Applications, Add to install Art Manager and download thousands of its files and set up an Artwork PC.
I thought that the direct Heron repository was vast (and I haven't really started to explore the others), but there seems to be no end of packages and capabilities, even discounting the packages that simply don't work or have bugs, like Inkblot, or more obscure ones like GKrellM for system monitoring etc.
