VIA chipsets have always been a mixed bag - although I did like the chipsets found in AsRock boards (as per my Allendale rig below) which allow you to use AGP & DDR memory via a bridge...also for most PC users a motherboard with a good VIA chipset was all that was needed for web browsing etc. Oh well more for Intel, AMD and nVidia. Are SiS still making chipsets?
