im looking for a program so that i can run 64bit vista i have virtual pc installed but it doesnt run 64bit os i have also got virtualbox running linux ubuntu 8.04 will i be able to run a 64bit os on there or do i need something else?

Try VMWare, I've used 64 bit on it.
