Easily.

Plug the PC into the router and follow the instructions O2 gave you with the router. Tis how I did it.

You need to attached router to phone line, plug it ino PC and that should sort it out for you. Then to conenct to the wireless, turn your laptop on and input the details on the bottom of the O2 hub into your wireless connection part when it detects the network.

Easy as pie.
I know, cos I have O2.

in xp. make sure file and printer sharing is enabled and the folder to share is shared by right clicking.  make sure also you know the network name. then do the same on laptop.  i believe vista is simply the one main sharing page accessed through control panel and again share the folder.

also make sure any firewall allows it

OK thanks for the replies

I have right clicked on the folder and selected the share option. I have run the XP Network Setup Wizard on both pc and laptop and named both networks the same. Now how do I see the shared folder? I can't see anywhere on either pc or laptop that says its part of xxxx network. It's like I have missed something out..like the actual part where I connect each system to the network? Is there some kinda network search I should run or something? My Kaspersky hasn't popped up warning me about any connections so I must be missing something!
