| Hello i have an Msi K7N2Delta mainboard with SATA Connectors, and my current 80 gig Hard Disk has bad sectors, and i am looking for a replacement drive. I was wondering can you still buy SATA drives, and is SATA2 backwards compatible with SATA? Regards Chris

sata II is supposed to be backwards comapitble, but you may need to change a jumper.
