I have built the following machine for a friend who is mainly interested in digital photography and editing etc.:-
Gigabyte 7VAXP Ultra mobo, 2 off 128Mb PC2100 generic ram, 1800+ AMD CPU with fan,80Gb Diamondmax +9 8Mb cache HDD, floppy, Innovision Gforce4 MX440 video card 64Mb with TV out, Diamond 56K PCI modem, Lite-on CDRW and DVD units, 19" CTX monitor, SIIG PCI SCSI adapter. Complete with Windows Me, Norton Antivirus and Firewall. The system is housed in a midi tower unit with standard 300w p/supply.
The problem:- When editing in Phoposhop 6 (genuine) and zooming in onto an image on screen, it will allow normally three levels of zoom giving an instant result on screen, any more will give a deay of 2-4 seconds before the result appears on screen.
Similarly when using the ERASER TOOL - this will draw a white line across the image, however if moved quickly - sometime will leave the white line immediately some
