motherboard on carpet is that, not such a good idea? static etc?

I could not wait lol.... no maybe not the best idea in the world

Not been able to get past 3.7 yet NB & SB go through the roof pumping near 1.4 in core

Ram maybe holding me back as system will not boot in os

Will check ram voltage and divider

Just had a hunt around. vdroop on that mobo of yours is quite marked. As bad as it is on my P5N-E. Seems that true vcore can be 0.025v below bios at idle and upto almost 0.08v below at full load.

So its quite likely that your E5200 is only getting 1.375v even if the bios says 1.4v.

What hsf is fitted? If its good I'd be inclined to try approx. 1.415v in the bios.

Got a Akasa 965 fitted so should keep it cool emmm will try 1.41v will watch NB SB too I dropped them because they went in to the red is that the right thing to do?

3.7 is good but have read you can get 4 so will try this thing is running quicker than my Q6600 hehe

At 3.9 had to push vcore to 1.425 ;-( ram is the problem getting the timing near 800

fsb is 317 still think ram maybe the problem

Need just to push a little more
