Does anyone know where i can buy an unlocked Athlon 2500 or 2600 Barton core processor? or if there is any chance you can unlock the latest chips, as any chip produced after week 35 of 2003 is factory locked. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is a way to unlock those Bartons. It involves 'modding' it into a mobile chip. Basically joining up some bridges to fool the mobo into thinking its a mobile cpu.
