Hi lads although i do a bit of overclocking i haven't dun much with ram timings my last crack at this was a disaster i have them set at high performance in bios this gives 8-3-3-2.5 it runs a treat at this in my MIS K7N2 DELTA NFOCE2 2800+Barton running at 200x11 ram 2x 256 ADATA HIS 9800pro just got a Aquamark3 score of 42860 could i improve on this with better ram timings or should i leave it as it is

Improving your settings will be down to trial and error - it comes down to quality of ram, motherboard voltage options, quality of psu, case heat

You might get some improvment but probably not massively noticeable

Nothing wrong with those timings dude. Leave well alone.

p.s. if you really must then its cas 2 you want, but I would be amazed if it takes it!!

You could always go for the 11-3-3 timings - the nforce 2 board has a weird sweet spot in the memory timings with the 11 setting. Not that you are going to notice the difference.

Are you saying that 11 3 3 can be better than 8 3 3 ?
