The software has been written with IE in mind and not to open standards.
The same applies to the main Forum too, some bits don't work properly.

I use IE Tabs in FF rather than fire up IE itself.

It works very well in Chrome except that the height is wrong. Shame really, IE7 insists on a minimum width.

The problem is that if they wrote it to open standards, then it would work perfectly on everything apart from IE.

There are some that would say Microsoft intended that. It would be very anti-competative and to the layman it would look like MS was the best browser.
