Hi all, thought I'd drop a hint to ATI owners that a beta driver of the 8.10s are available to try out:
http://forums.extremeoverclocking.com/showthread.php?t=303938
I've got them running on my PC and am very impressed with them. Crysis Warhead is playable at enthusiast (with a few switched down to gamer, due to my CPU bottleneck (I think)).
It's a very big download as it has all sorts of extra applications bundled with it (afaik it seems that the CCC is an old version).
I recommend giving a go though

They've added the function to manually change the fan speed in ATI overdrive. Which is handy, other than that there is nothing worth testing out beta.
So i'll be waiting on its release.
Thanks, Noodle.

Not experiencing that myself.
I'm not sure if the sig is related though. My previous signature (the pink haired girl asking for moar) would run super fast on Internet Explorer and normal speed on Firefox (or vice versa).
Did you try out any games with them before reverting to the previous (I presume you have reverted back)?

Come to think about it, I don't actually remember restarting my rig yesterday after i installed the beta drivers. Thats probably why I was experiencing problems. I have tried it on some of the games that I have installed and it does seem better. Edit: forgot to mention the fact that the new drivers boosted the OC I have on the 4850. I've managed to get an extra 10MHz core clock and 50MHz memeroy clock.
