Since the radio (not interested in the tv side) has been moved to iPlayer, it crashes FF3 on Ubuntu.
It also had issues with my internet radio on Reciva.
The latter appears to have been resolved, and ( I believe) it uses direct streaming, .asf streams.
Opensuse launches Realplayer Ok, But uses lots of Mplayer plugins which I am not keen on installing on my miniITX box.

If you're using Ubuntu, try removing all the Pulse Audio packages and the libflashsupport package.

| Which BBC stations do you want to listen to? Look at http://www.mikesradioworld.com/ particularly http://www.listenlive.eu/uk.html . I can RIGHT click the Realplayer connection, choose "Copy Link Location" and paste that into Realplayer.

Thanks for the link. I have got it working from the Reciva site www.reciva.com (excellent source of IR links) it opens the streams from there in Totem.
It just seems to be iPlayer that screws it up.
