i really am v. interested in purchasing one of these, as i really wouldn't mind trying an overclock 4 the 1st time.
how about an article on overclocking this core.
BTW, i did try asking Monsieur D'Allison, but got no reply, is there an advantage in overclocking a 2400+ ahead of a 2000+ or a 2200+?
And how (& how much by) should i adjust my RAM settings?
Thanx, a devoted reader of MM

Hi Elan,
If you haven't overclocked before the first thing u should do is check your motherboad to see if it fully supports overclocking.
Check your motherboard manual in the Advanced Chipset Features section and see if you can adjust the CPU External Frequency (CPU Front Side Bus - or FSB) in single inraments.
If you can there's probably an option further below it called System Performance - this needs to be set to 'user defined'.
Unfortunately many computer BIOS' differ from machine to machine - terminology and options available may be different on your machine - I use a nForce 2 chipset from Asus (great for overclocking).
See ya

We'll add this to our list, although it may pop up as part of a bigger feature, rather than an individual piece. Thanks for the suggestion!
