Is it just me who has trouble finding decent templates for DVD cases in office formats like OpenDocument Text, OpenDocument Drawing, SVG, Scribus, Word 2000 and Publisher 2000? PDF (or JPG) isn't that useful for me as it isn't as easy to edit. Can't afford Photoshop or InDesign. Can anyone share any they can find in this topic?
DVD covers are
183mm high
both front and back are 129.5mm wide each
spine is 14mm wide
(total width is 273mm)
I made one for Scribus here.
I made ones for Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP and OpenDocument Text here.

Just done a quick search.
Have you tried this: OOoBlankLabels
And this may be of interest too: Making CD and DVD Lables with OpenOffice.org Templates
There is specialist software available, but the freeware options are limited.
The templates are US letter size, which is slightly wider (by a few mm) but not as long as A4 paper (couple of centimeters shorter)
Good luck, there may well be better ways of doing it.
