I have a Toshiba Equium M50-192 Laptop, around 2 years old, just recently the power supply started getting very hot when the laptop was switched on, so I bought a new complete power / reducer leads, this seemed to work but now it keeps going to the battery power even when plugged into the mains? If I un-plug the mains lead and plug it back in it goes back to the mains supply for 1 minuet then goes to battery I tried to move the plug into the computer but it does not seem to alter, ( I thought maybe a poor connection). A new battery is around £50.00 to have someone look at it around £50.00 I do'nt mind paying if it works but I could still end up buying a new laptop?
Any ideas would be gratefully recieved.
