I never like the Faversham much (if it's the one I'm thinking of) - too small (or rather too badly laid out).

Saw a couple of Battle of the Bands gigs there and had trouble seeing anything good

The Fav is the one behind the Uni. The stage isn't huge, nor in the best position, but as bands of no huge following play there, it usually turns out to be quite comfortable.

Camera Obscura will be quite a busy gig, I bet
