1/ Error Desktop
Could not start process unable to create lo slave
Klauncher said unknown protocol devices.
2/ Error Konqueror
Listing folders is not supported for protocol about.
I had these two errors appear at KDE loading.
In searching other forums it appears to be a bug in KDE 3.3.
Anyone with this problem should install kdebase3-extra.
I went to yast add remove program and install kdebase3-extra, yast automatically deleted the kdebase3 personnal (hope I got the right word for the package) . After the package was installed I rebooted the machine and login to kde, Now the error message is gone and finally the cd recorder dvd and floppy are showing up in my desktop.
