My Dad has a Sony TRV145e, which has an iLink connector (I believe that this is the same as firewire). He would like to connect the camera to his PC to edit videos, and I know he will need a firewire card. Will he need anything else to capture the video stream to his PC (Sony told him that he would need a firewire card and a separate DV capture card)? What software would he need? I have Ulead Video Studio 3 which captures video from my PCI and AGP cards but I don't know if it will work with firewire. Thanks for your advice, Andy
