Why not do an article or an opinion on where the corporations get their hardware, how well it work's? and whether their is anyway the public can check when problem's arise or better still if their hardware/software is fit for their purpose......

I suggest this because if the public ever has a problem with any of the corporation's you seem to get a standard reply "sorry all the computer system is down" so why don't we have an ombudsman who can keep track of this and let the public know who has the most system failure's or unreliable system's.

As you can probably already guess I have had more than one run in with this digital communication we now all love so much? i.e. bank's charging me for late payment's I know I have made over the internet but now cannot prove I made the payment, back to paper over the counter then,ISP's who lose my connection which suddenly reappear's after threatening to cancel service and told we have no problem's at our end how can I prove this or better yet why can't they prove it to me because I know if I phone I ALWAY'S get the same response "sorry all our systems are down at the moment, call back later".

It would seem that nearly every supplier to the general public has to prove their worthiness to maintain a good service except digital supplier's who seem to make it up as they go along and seem to notice very quickly if you use your service too much? and can and do cut you off but we as consumer's cannot keep track of their quality of supply.

Maybe I am wrong and their is some sort of governing body who does regulate but if not could you please write an article on it or at least offer an opinion thank's in anticipation of your response.

PS I really do want to like the digital age but anyone who grew up on 1984 is now having real difficulty in not believing that G.Orwell was a modern day Nostradamus..............
