Yes i finally managed to compile the smartlink drivers (thanks Friendly Guy) make, make install ect mod probe. the slmodemd command is supposed to make a sym link from /dev/pty/2 to /dev/ttySL0. I did an ls on this after running slmodemd --country=UK /dev/ttyslm0 command it says use /dev/ttySL0 in your setup parameters. it the says control C to abort. I abort it and check for the links no where to be found except in /dev/pty where the re a 0 and a 1
I chose 0 and started the wizard it did I filled in my account parametrs passwords ect. chose X on Xoff flow control and tried to activate. I dialed I could hear it but it came up with error 6 message cant activate freeserve. I have just about had it with this lark although i have learnt a lot, though this is starting to become to far drawn out. can anyone please help.
